The history of the company goes back to the year 1918, when the first world war has just ended, and the grandfather of the present owners established his own company for customs clearencs and ship agency. Soon he was joined by his son, and the company flourished into cargo booking for shipments to all Persian Gulf ports including those on the Arabian Peninsula.
With the outbreak of the second world war, the demand for transportation by land and sea was increased, and larger number of streamers and dhows piled the Indian Ocean.

Today, the new compnay established in 1981, by the grandsons of the original founder, namely, Dr. Khosro, Dr. Mahmoud and Mr. Nasser Douraghi-Zadeh, covers a broad area of transportation.
